Greyhound Racing

Pragmatic Play’s Greyhound Racing is a virtual sports representation of a 6 or 8 greyhound race on a 400 metre oval track. Races can be 450, 650 or 850 metres long, each race starting with a parade of the runners. Each race is shown in full from the start to the finish line with the end featuring a slow-motion replay of the first 3 greyhounds to finish. The game uses fixed odds and a random number generator to determine the outcome with all customers viewing the same schedule and outcomes. The minimum frequency of the races is one every 2 minutes, periods longer than this can be configured in the game scheduler.

 

The line-up of greyhounds is taken from a list of over 60 fictitious names with the game ensuring that each Greyhound has an equal opportunity of appearing in each race. Races take place in daylight and at night under floodlights
